Before the war, Kateryna worked in the banking sector in Ukraine, managing multiple departments and leading projects. Alongside her professional career, she was also a swimming instructor at SimyaSwim. Above all, she is a dedicated mother.
Since moving to Manchester, Kateryna has remained actively involved in volunteering. At Sunflower Manchester, she supports the team through social media management and project delivery. She also contributes to wider community initiatives, including the Saturday rallies Manchester Stands with Ukraine.
Kateryna brings strong organisational skills, professional experience, and a deep sense of responsibility to her work, supporting both the team and the community.
